C’mon Do the Pink Walk or Run

October 13, 2009

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the United States, other than skin cancer, and the second leading cause of cancer death in women.  These are our moms, our sisters, our wives, our friends.

That’s one reason we are joining the hundreds of thousands of others who will don pink in October to participate in the myriad of activities surrounding Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

In recognition of three women we know personally who battled or are battling breast cancer, my wife is joining a team of fellow legal administrators — of which I will also be a proud member — for the 11th annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, Saturday morning, October 31, at Lake Eola in downtown Orlando, Florida.

There is still time to be a part of this cause that helps fight a disease that has affected so many.

To get involved, contact the American Cancer Society at 407.843.8680, or visit cancer.org/stridesonline. To donate to our team, send a pledge to kncfritz@cfl.rr.com.

Or , we’ll see you out there… we’ll be the ones in the pink t-shirts!
